Impact100 Garden State Founder Honored

FEBRUARY, 2024: Carole Garibaldi Rogers, founder of Impact100 Garden State and cofounder of SparkNJ, was honored by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting on February 8. Rogers received the Saint Clare’s Health William P. Huber Award for Outstanding Community Leadership for her many contributions to local communities and for inspiring hundreds of people to engage in philanthropy.

Since Rogers founded Impact100 Garden State in 2012, the all-women, all-volunteer group for collective giving has donated more than $3 million to area nonprofits. SparkNJ, founded in 2022, is a group of donors who make grants to community-based organizations in northern NJ whose leaders identify as Black.

Rogers also received proclamations from the U.S. Congress and from the New Jersey State Senate and General Assembly.
