TECHNOLOGY CHAIR
Why did you join Impact100 Garden State?
I spent a decade working in education, teaching service learning and giving back to young people. I loved what I did. When I transitioned my career, I truly missed working with nonprofits and the spirit of volunteerism that had been part of my everyday life. Joining Impact100 Garden State really helped me reconnect with the spirit of volunteerism that shaped my upbringing and early career.
What do you do in your role as Technology Chair?
I help streamline technology processes and systems to fuel organizational efficiency.
What do you love about your role?
I love helping organizations run more smoothly. I care about our mission, and if more efficient systems can help us better achieve it, then great!
What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining Impact100 Garden State?
There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing your donation makes a real, tangible difference in your community through causes and organizations you care about. Think about all the small donations you give throughout the year, where you never see the impact. At Impact100 Garden State, you’re able to see the result of your giving—and it is beyond inspiring.
What is your professional and volunteer background?
By trade, I am an organizational psychologist who deeply understands how streamlined systems and processes help organizations thrive. Part of what I do is leadership development and adult learning. I conduct a lot of leadership development training. In the past, I have also done a lot of operational work, helped build organizational systems, and project-managed CRM migrations and other projects. I also started my career in marketing and witnessed the evolution of digital marketing, training many business leaders on several of the digital marketing tools we use effortlessly today.
