GRANT OPERATIONS CHAIR
Why did you join Impact100 Garden State?
To support the critical work of nonprofits in our service area and build community with strong women!
What do you do in your role as Grant Operations Chair?
The Grant Operations team works to coordinate the grant review program, from managing incoming applications to supporting our dedicated members as co-chairs and reviewers on our grant review teams. Our process ensures that the strongest proposals are presented to the full membership for voting.
What do you love about your role?
I love seeing the level of engagement the grant review process inspires. Members who participate in the review process are motivated and dedicated to continuing to advocate for the needs of our communities with renewed energy.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining Impact100 Garden State?
“What are you waiting for?!” But really—constantly meeting incredible women from all walks of life while working together toward making change—this is what our world needs. Women are powerful, and when we are united, we can accomplish anything.
What is your professional and volunteer background?
My background is in nonprofits, specifically working with families who have experienced trauma such as domestic violence and homelessness. Whether coordinating direct programming for families, building a strong team through HR roles, or strengthening organizations through fundraising, the end goal for me is always the same: supporting children and families.
Locally, I have taken active leadership roles in the Warren Township Democratic Committee for the past five years and strive to make my community a kind, welcoming place for all.
