WomenSpeak: The Oasis English as a Second Language Program

Paterson-based Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children was awarded a $100,000 grant for 2023 for its program “WomenSpeak: The Oasis English as a Second Language Program.” Oasis's ESL Program provides daily English classes for more than 200 impoverished immigrant women of varying skill levels, helping them integrate into the community and improve their economic well-being. The program offers childcare, meals, clothing, counseling, and a supportive community.
