IIC Expansion: Alternative Therapies for Youth and Families

Studies demonstrate that youth transitioning from out-of-home placements to their families are at greater risk of homelessness, addiction, and incarceration. Bonnie Brae’s Intensive In Community Services (IIC) Program has successfully addressed these risks. For this reason, we want to expand our IIC services (yoga, art, and animal-assisted therapies) for youth leaving residential care, as well as offer these services to other high-risk families in order to avoid out-of-home placement.
