STRAWBERRY MOON SOLSTICE HIKE
Open to friends and family! Limit: 20 participants.
Time: 8 to 9 p.m.
190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge (The Environmental Center).
This year the Summer Solstice falls on June 20th and the Strawberry Full Moon lands June 21st.
We thought it would be fun to schedule another full moon hike with our favorite Naturalist, Ben Barkley of the Somerset County Parks Division. Ben will lead us on a guided educational walk around Lord Stirling park in Somerset County.
This event is open to Impact100 Garden State members and their guests (including men and children).
We are limited to 20 participants, so respond soon!
Special notes: We will be walking on dirt paths at dusk. Consider wearing hiking boots and bringing a flashlight. Last year, the path was a bit muddy.
The Environmental Education Center offers a beautiful deck area overlooking a pond. If you are uncertain about whether you can or want to join the hike, you may enjoy the sunset from the deck.
We will reschedule if the weather is inclement.
